It is Your Life -- What to do
It is Your Life
#1 Baptism
When we restore His Birth Name, the Name given to Him by His Heavenly Father, we see clearly, then, what we must do --
Luke 1:30-31 The Angel said to her, "Don't be afraid, Miriam, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and will call His Name 'YaHshua.'
This Name, YaHshua, found among men, has existed for thousands of years, while the false name, JESUS, is only a few hundred years old, and is a name the Apostles never, ever heard, or spoke, much less baptized anyone into. But, the Name YaHshua, the Name our Savior was named, thousands upon thousands of believers were baptized into, and yet, the enemy has managed to "replace" His Name, the Name He was give at birth. Why?
And so what?Act 2:21 It will be, that whoever will call on the Name of the Lord will be saved.'Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.(Act 10:43) All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His Name."
(Act 4:12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Old Testament confirmation?
(Joel 2:32) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
It would seem, then, if we are to take the Word seriously, as, you know, believers in that Book we call the Christian/Hebrew Bible, that this should be of great importance, even life changing importance. What name are you baptized into? What name do you confess? This, of course, would be the First thing that you, or anyone who is called, should do -- go and be baptized into His Name. Find someone, a preacher, teacher, pastor or priest that will baptize you, as requested, in your confession, into His Birth Name and not other. Remember, the person assisting and witnessing this for you, is but a tool, and does not need any special credential. They can be someone of a religious nature, teaching, or education, certainly but not necessary. A fellow believer, a friend, and partner, whoever is willing to witness you confessing. And I see no reason why you could, or should not do this yourself, so long as your confession and repentance is honest and you are moved by the Spirit to do so. Think about it, the first converts, on that day of Pentecost, when 3,000 were baptized into His Name in that one day (Acts 2:41).
The logistics of such an event would require that when one person was baptized they would in turn baptize another, or help baptize another. Such a mass baptism of repentant believers would have to allow for this. And, in that day, of that event, there is no mention at all, that any one of the Disciples baptized anyone. But, of course, we can assume that they did being practice in the art of baptism throughout the Ministry of YaHshua. Still, such a mass baptism call for many more hands. Also, in this first baptism, we hear nothing about the laying on of hands until latter. It would seem that the laying on of hand, by the Apostles, or elders in the newly formed ecclesia (churches), had been a method of passing on certain blessing for duties in the ministry, but originally used as a sign from the Holy Spirit as a form of approval. This was the method, virtually the only proof, that Gentiles were to be accepted into the Body of the Messiah, that to be a child of the Living God was no more exclusive to the Israeli or those of Judah (Gal 3:28, Col 3:11). Still, the Jew holds a special place in the heart of our Creator, their creator, and is to be respected by everyone, especially those having been called to YaHshua (Rom 3:1-2).
What Next?
1 John 5:1-5 Whoever believes that YaHshua is the messiah is born of the FATHER. Whoever loves the FATHER also loves the child who is born of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of the FATHER, when we love the FATHER and keep his commandments (words). 3 For this is the love of the FATHER, that we keep His commandments . His commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatever is born of the FATHER overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that YaHshua is the Son of the FATHER? (The bogus name JESUS, never existed when these words were written)
John 1:11-13 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him.
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become the FATHER's children, to those who believe in His Name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of the FATHER
Gal 3:25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor (Torah, that is, the Law).
Gal 3:26 For you are all children of the FATHER, through faith in the Messiah YaHshua.
Gal 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into the Messiah have put on the Messiah.
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in the Messiah YaHshua.
Act 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other Name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Not Maybe, but MUST be SAVED -- No other Name)
(Act 2:38-39) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of YaHshua the Christ (The Anointed) for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself."
Luke 11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?"
Rom 6:4 We were buried therefore with Him through baptism to death, that just like the messiah was raised from the dead through the glory of the FATHER, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, we will also be part of His resurrection;
Rom 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
Rom 6:7 For He who has died has been freed from sin.
Rom 6:8 But if we died with the Messiah, we believe that we will also live with Him;
Rom 6:9 knowing that the Messiah, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over Him!
Rom 6:10 For the death that He died, He died to sin one time; but the life that He lives, He lives to the FATHER.
Rom 6:11 Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to the FATHER in the Messiah YaHshua our Lord.
Rom 6:12 Therefore don't let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Rom 6:13 Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to the FATHER, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to the FATHER.
Rom 6:14 For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.
The Apostle Peter's first sermon ends with this directive -- and 3,000 were baptized that day --
Act 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of YaHshua the messiah for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The Apostle Paul received this Word which He recounted, and having been a persecutor of people professing YaHshua as Savior, he had many sins to wash away --
Act 22:14 He said, 'The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from His mouth.
Act 22:15 For you will be a witness for Him to all men of what you have seen and heard.
Act 22:16 Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the Name of the Lord.'
We are not all called to preach, or teach, but we are all called to baptism but not baptism only, but also to call on His Holy Name. Our confession our declaration -- YaHshua is Lord, First Born of God the Father, and our Savior.
Peter's first sermon, includes a quote from the Old Testament Prophets, Joel 2:32 --
(Act 2:21) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. (Joel 2:32)
(Rom 10:8-10) But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 9 that if you will confess with your mouth that YaHshua is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.Rom 10:11-13 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed."2 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on Him. 13 For, "Whoever will call on the Name of the Lord will be saved."
And Then What?
2 Cor 6:14-18 Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 What agreement has the messiah with Belial (the Devil)? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has a temple of the FATHER with idols? For you are a temple of the living the FATHER. Even as the FATHER said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their FATHER, and they will be My people.
17 Therefore, " 'Come out from among them, and be separate,' says YaHWeH. 'Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you. 18 I will be to you a FATHER. You will be to me sons and daughters,' says YaHWeH Almighty." (His Holy Name Restored)
There is a time, however, when we can be used to bring others to this knowledge about our Savior, and help in the restoring of His Birth Name, especially for the purposes of a pure confession and baptism. This is, however, not for everyone, but to those who can walk among the blind, helping some to see, without returning to that same blindness they themselves once lived in. Paul, tell us that this is what he did, and so can we, if spiritually strong enough to see the difference between the two, between being locked up in the chains of doctrines and customs and traditions and not. Walking among the prisoners of one faith or another, without become chained up once again ourselves. If a believer cannot do this, or have this gift of separation, while in the midst of idols and such, they that disciple should most definitely avoid such things until they have grown stronger in the Spirit. Paul set and example, and example some would stone him for. Nonetheless, he did show us, and tell us that this is possible, and in doing this, he was still able to remain separate, seeing all of these things as useless vanities.
Remember, this is only for those spiritually strong enough, mature enough. Eventually all those called should become strong enough in the Spirit to walk among those without the Holy Spirit, even in their festivals and customs, without become entrapped again themselves, and thus, giving more opportunity to share the true Message about the One Messiah, YaHshua. Not to take over such events or gatherings but mere being present to answer any questions from those who may be inspired to as about your hope, or your confession. Of course, in such meetings you may not be appreciated, but who knows. Paul attended gentile, even pagan festivals and sat down at their feasts in the hope of finding some who would seek him out to hear the Gospel.
1Co 9:19 For though I was free from all, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.1Co 9:20 To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law;1Co 9:21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward the FATHER, but under law toward the messiah), that I might win those who are without law.1Co 9:22 To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.
Make no mistake, no matter the path you abandon for the narrower path, will lead to some uncomfortable moments with others. Once Baptised into His Name, His Birth Name, you are telling all of those you have lived with and worked with, and schooled with, that they are wrong and have been worshiping and praying to a different savior. You very presence will say they are not saved because they have gotten caught up in what our Savior said would happen, and has happened.
2Co 11:3-4 But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in the messiah. For if he who comes preaches another ???, whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different "good news", which you did not accept, you put up with that well enough.John 5:43 I have come in My Father's Name, and you don't receive Me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
And so it is. YaHshua not only warned or charge the people of that day, but made a prophetic word that has come true.
There is, however, a few who see this, and are not willing to follow the crowd, or chase after the next great thing, jumping from one new thing to another, things that are not new, not really, but distractions away from the One true Lord and savior, YaHshua.
Then What?
Saul (Paul), had something to say about living the life -- by the numbers if you like:
From the KJV with His Birth Name restored -- a message not only from Paul (verse 14):1Th 5:9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord YaHshua the Christ (Anointed),1Th 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.1Th 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also you do.1Th 5:12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;1Th 5:13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.1Th 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feeble-minded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.1Th 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.1Th 5:16 Rejoice evermore. (according to the Greek -- A calm happiness -- in greetings)1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing. (walking with our Lord throughout each day - verse 10)1Th 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in The Anointed YaHshua concerning you.1Th 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. (deliberate ignoring, or pushing aside, or dampening, even to putting out the Spirit in us)1Th 5:20 Despise not prophesying (warnings, cautions, things to come, prophetic views -- things we do not want to hear but should).1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (This is a basic thing for all believers, or should be - 2 Tim 2:15)1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. (watching how we appear to others -- yes, we are to care about what others think)1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray (to) God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord YaHshua the Christ (The Anointed).1Th 5:24 Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it.1Th 5:25 Brethren, pray for us.1Th 5:26 Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss (as close relations would greet).1Th 5:27 I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.1Th 5:28 The grace of our Lord YaHshua the Christ (Anointed) be with you. Amen.
HalleluYaH!
